In the context of its OSH projects ETUCE organises and participates in different activities and events. On this page relevant information and documents concerning these events and activities are available.
ETUCE Closing Conference on Cyber Harassment, Bratislava
On 7-8 June, 2010 ETUCE hosted a closing conference on cyber harassment of teachers. The conference took place in Bratislava, and gathered participants from ETUCE member organisations in EU/EFTA and candidate countries. At the conference the results of the two ETUCE surveys on cyber harassment of teachers were presented, and participants discussed what further actions and policies are necessary in preventing and dealing with the phenomenon of cyber harassment in schools.
ETUCE Second Survey on Cyber Harassment of Teachers
A second survey on Cyber-Harassment of teachers was launched by ETUCE targetting its member organisations on the topic of cyber harassment. The survey sought to explore national teacher unions’ actions and strategies to gather ideas for further development and improvement of anti-cyber harassment measures at national union level. Also, ETUCE intended to gather good practices to revise the ETUCE Action Plan on Violence and Harassment in Schools and include cyber-harassment.
The survey results together with good practices on successfully implemented strategies was discussed at the closing conference, 7-8 June 2010 and published in an ETUCE report which is available for download on this website.
The final deadline for answers to the survey was 30 April 2010.
ETUCE Seminar on Cyber Harassment, Brussels
On 18-19 February, 2010 ETUCE hosted a seminar on Cyber Harassment of teachers. The seminar took place in Brussels and gathered teacher union representatives from ETUCE member organisations in the EU/EFTA and candidate countries. The Seminar was an opportunity to exchange good practices on how to tackle cyber-harassment in school, such as codes of conduct on anti-cyber harassment measures in schools.
ETUCE First Survey on Cyber Harassment of Teachers
ETUCE has launched a first survey of its member organisations on the topic of cyber harassment. The survey focuses on trade union strategies on cyber harassment, on how cyber harassment can be included in social dialogue, and on how cyber harassment is tackled at school level.
The final deadline for answers to the survey was 15 January 2010.
